Lisa F. Harper

Shareholder

Lisa is a native of Atlanta and received her law degree, with honors, from Georgia State University after having worked for software and food service companies, as well as financial institutions. Through her non-legal career experience, as well as her years of experience in the practice of law, Lisa is able to view legal issues from the client’s perspective and to quickly spot issues and boil them down to those that matter. Her legal expertise and general common sense and good judgment serve her well in a variety of legal and practical areas. As a result, many of Lisa’s clients, both business and individual, seek her input and assistance on a wide spectrum of matters, which primarily include:

✔   Business contracts
✔  Business partner and shareholder issues
✔  Creditor rights (and bankruptcy and debt re-structuring)
✔  Commercial leasing
✔  Commercial secured and unsecured lending
✔  Construction
✔  Employment
✔  Real estate
✔  Trusts and Estates (Litigation Only)

Due to her client needs and the nature of the areas of law in which she focuses, Lisa's practice in most of these areas has both litigation (as well as litigation prevention) and transactional aspects.

Lisa has been rated “AV Preeminent” by the peer review rating system of Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and has received the Martindale Hubbell Top Rated Lawyer Award in Labor and Employment. While in law school at Georgia State University in 1991, Lisa was an associate editor and special staff to the managing editor of the Georgia State Law Review, received American Jurisprudence Awards in litigation and Corporations and GSU College of Law academic scholarships from 1988-1991 and was a member of Delta Theta Phi.

Lisa most enjoys, however, developing long term relationships with her clients and becoming a partner with them in furthering their interests.
